Summary: ZingLime helps you schedule and publish content to your social media accounts. We collect only the data necessary to provide this service. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

ZingLime ("we", "us", or "our") operates the website zinglime.com and the web application at app.zinglime.com (together, the "Service"). ZingLime is a social media scheduling and management platform that allows users to connect their social media accounts, schedule posts, and manage their online presence.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

  • Account registration details (name, email address, password)
  • Profile information you choose to add
  • Content you create, schedule, or publish through the Service (posts, captions, images, videos)
  • Billing information (processed securely by Stripe — we do not store full card numbers)
  • Communications you send us (support requests, feedback)

2.2 Information from Social Media Platforms

When you connect a social media account (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, or Threads), we receive information from that platform including:

  • Your public profile information (name, profile picture, page/profile ID)
  • Access tokens that allow us to post on your behalf
  • Basic analytics data about your connected pages or profiles (reach, engagement) where you grant permission

We only request the permissions necessary to provide the features you use. We do not access your private messages or contacts on any social platform.

2.3 Information Collected Automatically

  • Log data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, timestamps)
  • Device information (operating system, browser version)
  • Cookies and similar tracking technologies (see Section 7)
  • Usage data (features used, posts scheduled, session duration)

We use the information we collect to:

  • Authenticate your identity and maintain your account
  • Publish and schedule social media content on your behalf
  • Process payments and manage subscriptions
  • Send transactional emails (account verification, receipts, password resets)

  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, and security issues

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share your information with:

4.1 Social Media Platforms

When you schedule or publish a post, we transmit the content and any associated media to the relevant social media platform (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Threads) using the access credentials you provided. This is the core function of the Service.

4.2 Service Providers

We work with trusted third-party service providers who process data on our behalf:

  • Stripe — payment processing
  • Cloudflare R2 — media file storage
  • Hostinger — web hosting infrastructure
  • Email providers — transactional email delivery

These providers are contractually bound to use your data only as directed by us and in accordance with applicable law.

4.3 Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information if required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of ZingLime, our users, or the public.

4.4 Business Transfers

If ZingLime is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email and/or a prominent notice on our website before your data is transferred.

5. Facebook and Instagram Data

ZingLime integrates with the Facebook and Instagram Graph APIs. By connecting your Facebook or Instagram account, you authorise ZingLime to access and use data as described in this policy and as permitted by your settings on those platforms.

  • We store your Facebook/Instagram access tokens securely to enable scheduled posting.
  • We do not store the content of your personal Facebook feed, private messages, or friend lists.
  • We do not share your Facebook or Instagram data with third parties except as required to operate the Service.
  • You can revoke ZingLime's access to your Facebook or Instagram account at any time via Facebook Settings → Apps and Websites or within your ZingLime account settings.
  • Upon revocation or account deletion, we delete your stored access tokens within 30 days.

Our use and transfer of information received from Google and Meta APIs adheres to their respective platform policies.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting info@azacreative.com.

After deletion, we may retain certain information for up to 90 days in backups, or longer if required by law (e.g. billing records for tax purposes).

7. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to:

  • Keep you logged in (session cookies)
  • Remember your preferences
  • Understand how you use the Service (analytics)

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect the functionality of the Service.

8. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including HTTPS encryption, hashed passwords, and access-controlled infrastructure. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your ZingLime account.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
  • Correction — request correction of inaccurate data
  • Deletion — request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
  • Portability — receive your data in a machine-readable format
  • Objection — object to certain types of processing
  • Withdrawal of consent — withdraw consent for processing where consent is the legal basis

10. Children's Privacy

ZingLime operates globally. Your information may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own. We take steps to ensure that such transfers comply with applicable data protection laws.

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. We encourage you to read their privacy policies.

14. User Data Deletion

You have the right to request the deletion of your personal data and any data ZingLime has collected through connected social media accounts (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Threads).

How to delete your data

You can request full data deletion in any of the following ways:

  • From your account: Go to Account Settings → Delete Account. This immediately removes your account and queues all associated data for deletion.
  • By email: Send a deletion request to info@azacreative.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and the email address associated with your account.

What gets deleted

  • Your account profile and login credentials
  • All scheduled and published post data
  • Connected social media account tokens and permissions
  • Uploaded media files
  • Billing history (except records required by law for tax purposes)

Deletion timeline

We will process your deletion request within 30 days. You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion is complete. Residual copies in encrypted backups will be purged within 90 days.

Facebook/Instagram: You can also remove ZingLime's access to your Facebook or Instagram data directly from Facebook Settings → Security and Login → Apps and Websites → Remove ZingLime. This revokes our access tokens immediately.
